Finding the Life Underneath Your Life

How to Think Spiritually and Relieve Stress

By watching the mechanics of the mind, you can learn to identify with every part of yourself; the good, the bad, and the ugly. This identification can help us accept the problems we may have once swept underneath the carpet. When these issues are left unattended deep within ourselves, they may limit room for anything new to enter and leave less room for solutions. A great way to clear some room and create space in your spirit is by learning to use all of your senses fully.

Starting now, make the intent to use your senses fully. Be where you are.

Look around. Just look, don’t interpret. See the light, shapes, colors, and textures. Be aware of the silent presence of each thing. Be aware of the space that allows everything to be.

Listen to the sounds; don’t judge them. Listen to the silence underneath the sounds.

Touch something. Anything. Feel and acknowledge it’s being.

Observe the rhythm of your breathing; feel the air flowing in and out, feel the life energy inside your body.

Allow everything to be, within and without. This meditation can aid in cultivating more balance between your mind, body, and spirit.
