How to Efficiently Make a Lifestyle Change

In the midst of starting a change in diet, exercise or spiritual practice, most of us get caught up in trying to make too many changes at once. This may present with sensations of being overwhelmed and sometimes even failure of the proposed ‘change’ we had set our goals for. Building balance starts with simplicity: doing one thing consistently everyday for two weeks to a month before implementing one more thing for the following two weeks to a month. This tactic has been proven to be more efficient than trying to change multiple things all in one day.
