The CDC journal: Preventing Chronic Disease put forth a method for defining and ranking power-house fruits. They are defined by twelve nutrients (100g serving size): concentration of calories, sugar, fiber, antioxidant content (mmol/100g), omega 3’s, glycemic load, vitamin A, vitamin B (Thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, B6, folate, biotin, B12, pantothenic acid), vitamin C, E, K, and potassium.
