Looking Inside the Mind

“Work-Ethic Eliminates Fear”

Learning to examine our own mind is a very rich and powerful method of study. While we cannot control everything that occurs outside of our head, we can choose to have a championship mentality with any situation that may be draining us of vital energy. For example, when life presents us with unexpected problems or speed bumps.

The first step towards cultivating this mentality lies in adopting the effective psychological technique of ‘positive self-talk’ when dealing with challenging situations. Choosing a positive mental attitude through believing in our ability to learn and grow from each event that occurs, and / or through channelling our frustrations towards fueling our ambitions becomes fundamental to cultivating a mental-toughness that can aid us in remaining focused and competitive with our personal goals. Over time, repeatedly blessing ourselves with positive affirmations can make it easier and easier to turn our tragedies into triumphs. Our brain’s ability to restructure itself after this sort of training or practice via neuroplasticity makes personal growth and development a step-by-step process. This process is similar to how training athletes can improve their performance through purposeful repetition. Over time, this process can revitalize our motives to succeed while also potentiating our psychological and physical well-being!
